Cookie Policy
Last updated:
This policy explains how Fehrist uses cookies, local storage, pixels, SDKs and similar technologies on our public website, merchant dashboard and hosted storefronts.
1. What these technologies do
Cookies are small files stored by a browser. Similar tools can remember a session, protect a login, save preferences, measure performance or record whether a visitor consented to optional tracking.
2. Categories
- Strictly necessary: authentication, security, load balancing, checkout, fraud prevention and consent records. The Service may not work without them.
- Preferences: language, currency, theme, device and other choices requested by the visitor.
- Analytics: aggregated or pseudonymous information used to understand traffic, feature use and errors.
- Marketing: attribution, campaign measurement and relevant advertising where a merchant enables it and law permits.
3. Fehrist website and dashboard
We use necessary technologies to provide and secure accounts. Optional analytics or marketing tools should only activate after the required choice is recorded. The exact providers may change as our infrastructure changes; the consent interface is the current source for optional categories available on the device.
4. Merchant storefronts
Merchants decide which optional pixels and integrations to enable for their stores and are responsible for appropriate notices and consent. Fehrist provides privacy and marketing settings, but each merchant must configure them for its markets.
5. Your choices
You can use the consent controls shown on the relevant service, change browser settings, delete stored data or use recognized opt-out signals where supported. Blocking necessary storage can prevent sign-in, cart or checkout functions. Disabling optional technology does not remove information already processed lawfully.
6. Retention
Session cookies normally expire when the session ends. Persistent cookies remain for a defined period or until deleted. Consent records and security logs may be kept longer to demonstrate choices, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.
7. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when providers or legal requirements change. Questions: privacy@fehrist.com. See the Privacy Policy for broader data practices.
